Best Books Inc. president, Maike
Engelbrecht, has been a professional bookkeeper for over 25 years. She
completed a rigorous four year apprenticeship program in bookkeeping in
Hamburg, Germany, before immigrating to Canada in 1984. After several
years putting her gift with numbers to work for other people,
Maike’s entrepreneurial spirit made establishing her own
business inevitable, and she founded Best Books Inc. in 1997.
With her passion for helping others, Maike
has been able to both cultivate an outstanding team and give her
clients the tools they need to grow their businesses, resulting in
excellent growth for Best Books Inc. as well.

Sherry Daley
has been with Best
Books Inc. for nearly 5 years. She is a senior bookkeeper
and senior personal Income Tax preparer. As a
particularly organized and systems driven person, her
specialty is cleaning up messy bookkeeping files, and
establishing proper bookkeeping systems for clients. So
if your books are in a mess, and you are willing to put
some positive changes in place, Sherry can help you be
better organized in your bookkeeping future!
Best Books Inc.
is thrilled to have Rainer on our team. He successfully
completed a three-year apprenticeship on accounting and
office administration in Wyk, Germany. In 2006, he
earned a Master's Degree in Business Management with a
focus on financial controlling, international accounting,
capital market and risk management at the University of
Applied Sciences in Flensburg, Germany. With eight years
work experience in accounting and controlling, he is
proficient in several accounting programs and Microsoft
Excel. Rainer is fluent in German and English.
